OPSUN SELECTS CELESTICA TO PROVIDE PV PANELS IN ONTARIO

TORONTO, July 5th, 2011 - Opsun, a Canadian provider of innovative rooftop mounting solutions and PV modules, is proud to announce the signing of an agreement with Celestica,  a global leader in the delivery of end-to-end product lifecycle solutions, to manufacture high-efficiency solar panels in Ontario, Canada.

The signing of this agreement completes Opsun’s rooftop solar solution, comprised of patented mounting systems, top-tier Ontario-made PV panels and industry-leading support. “Opsun has been committed to developing and providing smart technology for our partners that maximizes ROI on every project,” says Raymond Gilbert, Chairman of Opsun. “Choosing Celestica as the manufacturer allows us to integrate the high-efficiency solar panels in Ontario with Opsun’s cutting-edge racking, thus ensuring maximum power output and structural integrity at a competitive cost.”

The manufacturing and shipping of Opsun’s panels is underway. The Ontario-made modules qualify for 15% domestic content under the province’s Feed-In Tariff program. “Our main focus is the rooftop market,” says Mr. Gilbert. “That is why we promote high-efficiency modules and provide expert support for our clients. OPSUN PANELS ANNOUNCES THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 50 MW SOLAR PANEL PRODUCTION LINE IN ONTARIO

TORONTO, December 3rd, 2009 - Opsun Panels Inc., a subsidiary of Opsun Technologies Inc., has decided to set up a 50 MW solar panel production line in Ontario to meet the Feed In Tariff’s Domestic Content requirement. Opsun is already manufacturing its SunRail™ mounting system and StructuralPV™ commercial solution in Ontario.

Opsun Panels will begin its Ontario production in Q3 2010. Until then, Opsun will supply the Ontario market with solar panels laminated according to Opsun Panels’ specifications by a highly qualified partner. Opsun’s PV panels are built using high-efficiency SE solar cells by CSUN, a top-tier specialized solar cell manufacturer. Those panels, as well as the SunRail™ mounting system and StructuralPV™, are available immediately.

Opsun Panels will be exhibiting at the Canadian Solar Industries Association’s annual conference on December 7-8 at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto. Their products will be on display at Booth 511B, where the Opsun team will be demonstrating the technology.

OPSUN TECHNOLOGIES AND CHINA SUNERGY SIGN SOLAR PRODUCTS FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT

SAINT-AUGUSTIN, Canada, October 23, 2009 - Opsun Technologies, a Canadian manufacturer of solar panels, mounting systems and solar concentrators, and China Sunergy Co., Ltd (Nasdaq: CSUN), a specialized solar cell manufacturer based in Nanjing, China, have entered into a framework agreement related to the delivery of China Sunergy solar products to Opsun between 2009 and 2014.

The framework agreement aims to leverage the existing relationship between the firms to facilitate sales of China Sunergy’s existing solar cell products while enhancing the development of specialized solar cells for future projects. The agreement encompasses the delivery of 100MW of solar cells, solar panels and custom-designed solar modules to Opsun.

Opsun will integrate China Sunergy’s advanced solar cell technology into their PV Panel, Structural PV modules and 3X Concentrated modules, sales of which will initially be focused in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec as well as the north-eastern United States. As part of the developmental aspect of the agreement, China Sunergy will enhance existing solar cell technology based on Opsun’s specifications, allowing the delivery of specialized solar products directly to Opsun. These solar products will be incorporated into Opsun’s advanced ‘3 Suns’ photovoltaic concentrator systems, demonstrating China Sunergy’s ability to deliver customized solutions to clients.
